Associate Director of Facility Engineering

Engineering Assoc Director of Facility Engineering New York Blood Center, one of the nation's largest community based independent research, blood and clinical services organizations, has a challenging, full time opportunity for an Associate Director of Facility Engineering in our Department of Engineering.In this role, you will direct daily activities/operations & manage term, mid & long-range capital projects. You will also manage facility resources including equipment, machines & property.Requires a BS in Engineering and 7-10 years of facilities management experience with an emphasis on plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC and lab protocols. Experience in an automated preventative maintenance program and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills required. Must be proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.We offer a competitive salary & benefits package.
