At present, we have an excellent opportunity for Applications Engineering Analysts in our Englewood, CO location. Our Engineering Solutions Center orchestrates extensive, leading technology across broad markets. Enabled through Arrow's many supplier partners and our current expertise in architectural and design consultation, you will help pull the pieces together. Your active involvement in creating ideas and solutions for customers, and solving many design challenges will provide a rewarding experience. Many will depend on your talent and success. Job Description - Build Broad Solutions - Assist ESC team with researching current technology options and compiling specific application solutions for delivery by FAEs to end customers. Leverage Arrow's extensive supplier line card and use your own knowledge to generate unique design recommendations, while combining with and learning from other experienced Applications Engineers. - Device and Documentation Research - Search franchised suppliers and suggest components and other products based on technical specifications provided by ESC team, FAEs and customers. Obtain related technical and marketing documentation (e.g. supplier product roadmaps, presentations, application notes, data sheets, availability, etc.). Also search case history and knowledgebase for related info and possible quick solutions to the requests. - Create Presentations - Build PowerPoint or Acrobat presentations from raw content provided by ESC team, or combine multiple, disparate presentations and other information into one professional format for subsequent delivery to end-customer. Also combine solutions content into presentable soft "packet" for delivery to FAE. - Development Tool Installation - Assist FAEs and end-customers with installation and startup on major industry software tools, development boards and evaluation platforms. Provide expertise and quick design startup time for developers across a wide range of applications. - Other duties as assigned - Will support both local ESC team and NA FAEs in providing technical solutions and expertise on our suppliers' latest technology. Training and career development offered as standard.
