Advertising & Promotions Specialist / CPDE1946

Position Description:The Sr. Representative of Advertising and Promotions will manage the activities to build awareness of the Skyworks brand and products. The selected individual will collaborate with Sales, Product Marketing and Engineering to develop appropriate product positioning strategies, as well as provide direction to vendors and agencies to ensure that all communication is relevant to the target audience and consistent with the Skyworks brand.Responsibilities include:Advertising Plan:•Participates in market research as needed to gain insights and develop an advertising strategy that supports product positioning.•Ensures Product Management is in agreement with all advertising plans.•Ensures that creative materials that are developed are in line with the advertising strategy•Ensures that advertising strategies are communicated to appropriate internal departments•Participates in the selection of vendors, agencies that will meet Skyworks advertising objectivesAdvertising Project Management:•Collaborates with Product Management to develop and annual advertising plan•Oversees the advertising process for development of advertising materials•Ensures that advertising projects are completed on-time, on-budget, and that they adhere to ad dates•Manages all advertising projects to ensure they are current and renewed as needed•Identifies the need for research to measure the effectiveness of advertisingMedia/Editorial •Aids in the development of the target audience and potential media mix•Obtains approval for all media plans•Manages editorial/contributed articles with trade publicationsPromotions Development and Implementation•Investigates potential promotional opportunities and shares recommendations with marketing and communications leadership•Manages the development and implementation of promotional programs•Evaluates promotional performance to measure success of program and provide future direction People/Relationship Management•Builds strong relationships with media representatives, functional leaders, product managers, sales and engineering to best meet company goals and objectives•Manages and leverages relationships with agencies and vendors•Maintains professional relationships with peers in other corporations and outside organizations Advertising and Promotion Management•Operates within budgetary constraints, develops an annual budget forecast for advertising and promotions•Develops and maintains written departmental standards and proceduresQualifications:•Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of corporate or agency advertising experience. •Mobile Semiconductor industry experience preferred but not required•Knowledge of print and online advertising, digital marketing.•Experience with project management, media planning and budgets•Proficiency with Powerpoint and Excel•Ability to work with different levels of management and vendors•Excellent verbal and written communications skills*LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASE.
