Administrative Assistant
Liberty Electric Sales (www.libertyelectricsales.com), a leading sales representation firm in the instrumentation, process automation, heating, and cooling fields for over 20 years, seeks to hire an Administrative Assistant to work out of our headquarters in East Syracuse, NY. Â Â Through our world class group of well respected manufacturers, we connect companies to global inventory, technical support, fabrication, engineering, and design capabilities.
Responsibilities: Serving customers by answering the telephone; forwarding messages; confirming customer orders; keeping customers informed of order status. Handling data entry, typing, filing, maintaining the outgoing fax log and other general office duties. Preparation of daily bank deposits, including data entry of customer payments. Process all customer billings accurately. Ensures operation of office equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment inventory. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Forwarding information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information. Maintaining supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items Enhancing organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Requirements: Well versed on Microsoft Office Needs to be diversified and ambitious. Excellent communication & phone skills High School Diploma Required.
