Park Place International is seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to handle all essential duties for the accounts payable function.The ideal candidate must be analytical, have a positive attitude, and possess excellent communication skills.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

 Responsible for all incoming invoices, data entry into MAS 90, match invoices to purchase orders; obtain all appropriate approvals.Maintain vendor relationships with a high volume of accounts Manage all check runs, as well as manual checksResearch and resolve vendor inquiries on outstanding issuesMaintain accounts payable documents in detailed orderMonth-end activities including accruals, general ledger postings, prepaids, and reconciliation

 

Requirements and Qualifications:Minimum 5 years experience in Accounts Payable (A/P) requiredAssociates Degree in Accounting preferredExcellent PC skills, including MS OfficeStrong organizational skills, attention to detailExceptional analytical and problem solving skillsEffective oral and written skillsAbility to work independently, as well as being a team memberSelf-starter
