Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator
Synergistics, Inc., incorporated in 1960, is a leading innovator and provider of complete access control systems through the use of advanced cardholder technology.
We are currently looking for an energetic, detail oriented person to join our growing company that will report directly to the Accounting Manager. We are offering mothers hours and hoping to find someone who in their “past life” was an accountant and is looking for part time work, a fast paced environment, but a low stress position.
Job Responsibilities:
· Full cycle Accounts Payable
Enter, process and pay vendor invoices
Coding, entering and issuing vendor checks
Customer service as it relates to vendor issues
· Full cycle Accounts Receivable
Prepare daily cash receipts for deposit
Process credit card payments from customers
Post cash to AR Ledger
Make collection calls
Perform miscellaneous problem investigation and resolution and other various ad hoc analyses as defined.
· Customer Billing
Process, print, email and mail invoices to customers’ daily/monthly
Process customer credit memos
Job Skills/Requirements/Specifications
o Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products especially Excel, Word and Outlook. Peachtree experience a plus.
o Dependable and reliable
o Attention to detail
o Excellent verbal and written skills. Strong interpersonal communication skills
o Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments
o Able to work collaboratively with the office staff and exhibit strong teamwork
o Ability to fill in on the phones when needed
o Other duties as required.
Education/ExperienceAssociates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
