This is a temporary assignment. This is a hands-on position requiring the candidate to place parts in a test socket and push the start button.  Parts will need to be sorted, counted and recorded.   At Sypris Test & Measurement, you will find a fun-loving, hard-working bunch of people. Hours: 1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:00pm Position Summary: Performs duties to set-up and operator automated test equipment to test electronic products for conformity to specified functional requirements, working within the limits of prescribed routines, methods or procedures. Essential Functions: Follow test documentation to determine job requirements, program number, fixturing, and other pertinent data. Load software, install fixtures and other required hardware and perform required setup operators for test. Follow test sequence and check for confirming and non-confirming results. Refer questionable cases to line leader or engineers. Position completed job in holding area in preparation for next operation. Work from travelers, test plan, procedures and program cards. Open appropriate data file in systems to ensure that data is logged to specific serial numbered part. Complete records on test plan to verify the completion of operation. Record and document test results and log out of project system. Maintain various project and activity logs as required. Job Requirements: Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements: U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required. High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 months hands-on experience in an ATE environment. Electronic industry experience preferred. Experience working with hand tools, meters, electronic and manual test instruments. Ability to effectively handle escalations and time critical issues. Meets goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles, or time constraints. Must have excellent attention to detail. Must have excellent manual dexterity. Ability to perform repetitive routines for long periods of time in a sitting position. Intermediate computer skills - MSOffice (Word/Excel).
