ASIC/FPGA Software Application Engineer (Semiconductor)

ASIC/FPGA Software Application Engineer - Semiconductor industry experience required.Responsibilities:* Identify and specify software/firmware needs for LiquidASIC, working with Interoperability (logic) Engineering * Develop (or supervise contractors) needed software/firmware to support LiquidASIC* Assist in the preparation of software/firmware application notes, data sheets and product briefs, working with the interoperability Engineering.* Support sales activity through product demonstrations, evaluations and competitive benchmarking* Provide technical support to customers including technical problem resolution and training* Travel is limited to North America (10-15%)Required Skills:* Semiconductor industry experience required.* Minimum of 3-5 years ASIC or FPGA App/Design experience * Strong written and verbal communication skills* Technical writing experience is a plus * Experience in a lead position giving guidance to other engineers * Ability to work on multiple tasks concurrently and prioritize issues and tasks * Ability to adapt quickly to change and work in a rapidly changing environment*Qualified candidates must have 8+ years experience.*B.S.
