Web Developer
WCSU is seeking a Web Developer (Programmer Specialist) to analyze, design, program, test, implement, secure and perform overall development of new systems. Additional information is available at www.wcsu.edu/hr/employment/current.asp
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems or a related area is required as are four or more years of professional experience in developing, securing, distributed enterprise class web based applications using real time connectivity to a relational database and demonstrating knowledge of programming in J2EE, Java servlets, JSP, Javascript, XML, XHTML and SQL required. Experience with Oracle, MySQL, or SQLServer databases required. Experience with WebSphere Application Server and programming in an IDE such as WebSphere Studio Application Developer or Eclipse is strongly preferred. WCSU is a dynamic, diverse workplace and the ability to work with students, faculty and staff from various backgrounds and cultures is highly valued.
