Develop and maintain a relationship with key bloggers and online social communities (including Twitter, Yahoo! Answers, Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Friendster, Stumble Upon, LinkedIn, and all those other online communities that Web 2.0 Marketing Managers know about). Manage and execute a strategy for all SEM, e-mail, and online advertising campaigns. Monitor and report on web-based coverage of Newser. Be the voice of the Newser user-community to Newser's internal teams; providing product feedback and direction to the engineering and product marketing teams about product improvements. Participate in managing media relations efforts to ensure that a positive message is maintained. Develop and implement all other promotional materials including product literature, free give-aways, and advertising.

Substantial awareness of and affinity for Web 2.0 / social media technologies such as web content management systems, blogs, wikis, discussion forums, social bookmarking, and micro blogging.
