Position:    Two positions at Assistant Professor or Instructor rank.  Areas of need include Child Health/Pediatric/MS/Psych (in any combination).  Nine month appointment. Tenure-track available to applicants with doctoral degrees. Start date either January or August, 2009.

 

Job Description:  Teaching responsibilities include classroom and clinical. Ability to teach in more than one area of nursing mandatory. Additional duties include academic advising, committee work, and professional scholarship.

 

Qualifications:   Doctorate in Nursing and teaching experience preferred.  Master’s degree in Nursing required.  Must have an Arkansas RN license at least one month prior to appointment.

 

Salary:   Negotiable

 

Department:  The nursing department is a strong and active program on campus with approximately 120 undergraduate nursing majors and seven full-time faculty, and is fully accredited through CCNE. The department includes a newly refurbished clinical simulation skills laboratory and will move into a new building in 2009.
