Pearson VUE is seeking a part-time Test Administrator at our Washington, DC location. Pearson VUE implements innovative electronic testing solutions that enhance the performance, reliability and security of professional licensing and certification programs throughout the world. Tests are delivered through a domestic network of more than 200 company-owned and operated Pearson Professional Centers and more than 3,400 Pearson VUE Authorized Centers worldwide.RESPONSIBILITIES:The Test Administrator delivers computer based exams to ensure that all qualified candidates are able to take the appropriate exam and have a positive testing experience. Maintains security of examinations and supplements by ensuring the correct candidate is at the correct computer for the correct test as well as monitoring operation of surveillance equipment, conducting walkthroughs during exams, taking inventory of supplements and locking up scratch paper and score paper. Communicates regularly with Lead Test Administrator, reviews and reads all TCO (Test Center Operation) correspondence regularly to maintain compliance of all procedure/testing updates and promptly communicates candidate and facility issues to Lead Test Administrator. Administers exams as scheduled and in accordance with Pearson VUE procedures and guidelines. Perform computer hardware and software updates as required and communicate with Help Desk when needed. Performs essential functions of Lead Administrator during times of absence.Must have:Ability to maintain working knowledge of Pearson VUE testing software and hardware in order to report problems, make updates and follow directions to fix equipment.Strong interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer serviceBasic Computer Skills, proficient with Microsoft OfficeStrong work ethic and ability to be flexible in work scheduleThis position requires that the candidate be able to work between 20 - 25 hours per week. The regular days of operation at this Pearson Professional Center are Monday - Saturday. This opening will be mostly evening shifts between 2:00pm - 10:00pm during the week and a minimum of 3 Saturday's per month (more Saturdays during peak season if needed). High School diploma or equivalent and Customer Service Experience required.Must be able to work in a quiet environment and learn detailed procedures.Must be willing to become certified as a Pearson VUE Test Administrator/Proctor (training provided) and pass a re-certification exam annually.
