Team Lead, Business Analyst/SQL Developer

The primary responsibilities of the team lead are to:
•lead, manage, and participate in the analysis, design, and development of data staging, table design, ETL, and data acquisition for the Data Management organization;
•lead and participate in the collection of ETL requirements, ETL design, and development;
•manage the process of collecting requirements, working with users, prioritizing requirements, assigning tasks, and monitoring progress for the following applications: DARTS, Data Warehouse, COB backend; and
•participate in SQL backend development for the Consolidated Operating Budget (COB) reporting system.

Successful applicants will have experience as a business leader, in analysis and design of ETL process, data management, table design, data mapping, and metadata management.
Additional Responsibilities:
Group responsibilities include backend/database support for the following systems:
1. COB (Consolidated Operating Budget)
2. Data Warehouse
3. DARTS financial reporting system
Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, management of the Data Management organization, production support, making bug fixes, adding new functionality to existing programs, writing new Transact-SQL stored procedures, testing applications, preparing code to be moved into production, and interacting with the Operations Group. The incumbent should have experience with the full project life cycle and be able to work with the user community to identify requirements and write specifications. The candidate must be able to work on multiple tasks at the same time. 
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent relevant experience required. Minimum 5–7 years’ related experience required.
1. Must be an experienced team leader in a similar operating environment
2. Must have direct experience as business analyst or data analyst
3. Must have four or more years of hands-on experience developing SQL, preferably with Sybase version 12 (or higher), SQL Server, and/or Oracle using transact-SQL or PL/SQL
4. Must have outstanding interpersonal skills

Additional minimum qualifications:
Familiarity with a Financial Systems is a plus, especially PeopleSoft Financials or University Financial practices. 
Preferred experience:
1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Oracle Warehouse Builder
2. Demonstrated knowledge of Data Mart design and development using Star Schema
3. Java
Other desirable skills:
Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Data Modeling, Erwin, WEB-Focus, Websphere or Eclipse, Data Warehouse experience, PeopleSoft, and UC4
