Job Description:
EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL ED (ECSE) TEACHERS, SPEECH/LANGUAGE CLINICIANS, for the Early Childhood Special Education Program
SITES: Coon Rapids Family Place, Riverview Early Childhood Center, and Sorteberg Early Childhood Center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE: Provide consultant and/or direct service in the School Readiness Summer Team Taught Paraeducator Model Program at Coon Rapids Family Place, Riverview Early Childhood Center, and Sorteberg Early Childhood Center sites in the School Readiness Summer Program.
The purpose of the instruction in either role would be to provide services needed to maintain a child's current skill level as well as to prevent a significant loss of self-sufficiency.
Minimum Qualifications: Requires current MN Teaching License in one or more of the special education areas listed for which you are applying.

RATE OF PAY: Teachers who work at their same position during the summer or do their own unit work during the summer, are paid according to their master agreement. Former Anoka-Hennepin Contracted Teachers or previous Anoka-Hennepin Summer School Teachers will receive the hourly rate in accordance with previous step/lane placement up to the maximum hourly rate stated in Article X of the working agreement ($33.00). New Summer School Teachers not employed in Anoka-Hennepin will be paid at Bachelors-Step 1 rate of $27.78 per hour. Teachers will be paid for teaching time plus prep time. There is no sick leave or vacation for summer school teachers.
