The Cree School Board provides pre-primary through secondary and adult education services in Cree, French and English in nine communities. Join our team and make a personal commitment to an experience that will change your life.



Teachers

2011-2012 School Year



Regular classes

If you enjoy challenges, hold a bachelors degree in Education and have a command of either French or English, we would like to meet with you! You could work as a specialist or general teacher in one of our schools at the primary or secondary level in one of these permanent positions.



Vocational Training Programs

We also have contractual positions at the adult education level that will start on January 24, 2011. As English will be the primary teaching language, these roles call for a command of that language. Legal qualification will be considered an asset, and 5 years of experience are required.



- Starting a business: 300-hour program in Chisasibi



-Accounting

1350-hour program (303 hours left) in Chisasibi

336-hour program in Whapmagoostui



In addition to the standard salary stipulated by the ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport (MELS), you will receive an isolation premium and northern allowance as well as housing and transportation (these benefits may vary depending on the position).
