Technician Lab Technician- Construction Trades Columbus State Community College is a learning institution committed to hiring flexible, creative and accomplished people who seek innovative work methods and practices while promoting the college's mission. The college currently invites interested applicants to apply for Technician (Lab) position in the Automotive & Applied Technology department. Responsibilities include distributing tools and equipment to students for classroom and laboratory use, disbursements and collecting and storing tools following use. Cleaning tools, equipment and floor. Cleaning and maintaining lab area. Opening and closing lab at shift end and ensures equipment is stored in proper location to secure Applied Technology Lab. Maintaining and updating inventory of tools, special service kits, and equipment and stock items. Monitoring disbursements, orders needed items and obtains bid offers on new equipment. Qualified candidates must have an a High School Degree or GED with technical or vocational construction training, and 1 to 3 years progressively responsible experience in various construction trades.Interested applicants should apply on line.
