North Andover Public SchoolsSUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLSThe North Andover School Committee seeks an experienced educator who will champion the district's vision for academic excellence; a professional who will promote creative approaches to dealing with challenges; and a leader who will communicate and collaborate with district staff, municipal management and government, and the community to support and promote a successful education for all students.
North Andover is located 25 miles north of Boston. The school system has about 4,600 students, Pre-school to 12, in seven schools, the majority of which are new or recently renovated.
Applications must be received by October 22, 2008. The successful candidate will start on or about July 1, 2009
The salary range is $160,000 to $180,00 plus a performance-based bonus program and competitive benefits package. Candidates must be eligible for certification as a superintendent of schools in Massachusetts.
