STUDENT SERVICES ASSISTANT

 

Southwestern Law School is seeking a detail-oriented individual interested in a career higher education. The ideal candidate will be a versatile self-starter who is capable of working in student or administrative services with minimal supervision while managing and providing clerical support; interacting effectively with a variety of constituencies including students, faculty and staff; and coordinating and completing multiple assignments and projects successfully.

 

This position requires the ability to effectively and efficiently manage heavy telephone and student inquiries about academic programs, procedures and requirements. Database and record management, word processing, text and numeric proofreading, document management, and special project coordination required.  Minimum qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree with two years’ experience in student or administrative services.  The successful candidate will also possess excellent interpersonal, service, and verbal/written communication skills; good judgment; strong organizational and planning abilities; and proficiency in computer programs (MS Word, Excel, Access), e-mail and internet usage.
