Reporting to the Director of Student Financial Services, the successful candidate will provide superior customer service to students and parents on a daily basis; communicate financial information to assist both students and parents to understand their financial relationship to the College.
Responsibilities include:Maintain student accounts receivablePlace holds on student accounts Reconciliation of billing records.Advise students regarding payment difficultiesProcess disbursements to the appropriate student accountsReview student payment plans for completeness and accuracy; update appropriate tracking systems.Perform diligent follow-up on missing or late payments due from students.Represent the college during orientation.Work additional hours (evening and weekends) during peak processing times to meet critical deadlines. Assist with College events as needed which include occasional evening and weekend commitments.Other duties as assigned
RequirementsBachelor's degree (preferred)Accounts receivable experience (higher ed experience preferred)Knowledge and experience with Datatel (A/R Modules preferred)Effective oral/written communication abilities Working knowledge of business software including MS Office
