Staff Associate, Associate Controller, Financial Services

 

Salem State College is seeking an Associate Controller in our Financial Services Department.  Job responsibilities include the oversight and management of accounting, reconciliation within the General Accounting area, including grants and projects accounting, fixed assets, financial aid, cash and investments.  Related student account activity includes the accurate and timely financial reporting along with the integrity of related general ledger accounts.

Baccalaureate degree is required in business, management or related discipline with a concentration in Accounting or Finance and five (5) years supervisory experience.  Candidate must have strong and effective interpersonal, oral and written communications skills.  Seeking a candidate that wants to be an integral member of a strong management team.  Must have excellent skills with the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to execute queries with relational databases in order to produce standard accounting and financial reports.
