PDG is searching for a senior technology leader to head our Media Services group.

 

Position Summary

The Senior Director of Media Services is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Media Services E-Learning and Simulation teams and aligning that strategy with the overarching organizational goals and values. In this capacity, the Senior Director is responsible for defining and maintaining standards of excellence in all project deliverables and managing the resources responsible for executing those deliverables. 

 

Responsibilities

Define the strategic direction of the Media Services department and create actionable plans to make that vision a reality as part of the business planning processProvide leadership and overall management of the department and support team members’ professional developmentParticipate as an active member of the Executive Leadership TeamEnsure the department’s ability to lead the field in quality, innovation and creativity by staying current with digital media outlets including display, search, social, mobile and new & emerging media technology formats Staff an exceptionally skilled team of full-time creative staff, graphic designers, animators/3D, developers and audio/video specialistsBuild relationships with highly-skilled contractors for use on an individual project basisAssign resources to projectsDefine standards of excellence and create processes for implementing best practicesDevelop and support effective communication across project teams and between divisions to ensure successNegotiate contracts with vendors
