The website also helps hundred of colleges and universities streamline their admissions and recruiting activities. In addition, The Princeton Review works with school districts around the U.S. to measurably strengthen students’ academic skills by connecting ongoing assessment with professional development and instruction, by offering intervention programs, and by providing districts with college and career resources for both students and guidance counselors. The Company also authors more than 200 print and software titles on test preparation, college and graduate school selection and admissions, and related topics.
15 Site Manager positions are available immediately in the following school districts:
* DC public and charter schools
* Prince Georges
* Fairfax
* Arlington
* Baltimore City
Manage an after-school tutoring program site for The Princeton Review. Tutoring sites are located in public elementary and middle schools throughout the DC / Baltimore area. TPR Site Managers will:
+ Recruit and register students for the program Develop and oversee
+ community outreach programs Establish and nurture school and community
+ relationships Hire, train and supervise a staff of part-time
+ Instructors and Aides Promote and maintain high levels of student
+ attendance in the programs Manage program operations to ensure that
+ programs are running smoothly and efficiently Maintain accurate
+ attendance, assessment and payroll records Coordinate the
+ dissemination, verification and collection of documents such as
+ attendance reports, Student Learning Plans, time sheets and new hire
+ paperwork Ensure that schools have necessary materials by ordering,
+ replenishing and distributing materials Administer pre, mid and post
+ assessments to all attending students Maintain student files Serve as
+ a resource for school administrators and parents
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required Prior experience
+ in K-12 schools preferred Prior management experience a plus
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Exceptional
+ organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with and
+ interest in the greater DC / Baltimore area public school systems
