Job Category: Project/Program Management CONTACT INFORMATION Job Description Senior Youth Program Assistant Progressive Child Care Fund providing an array of services to union members' children age’s birth to 17 is seeking energetic, professional Senior Youth Program Assistant for our Anne Shore Sleep-away Camp Program.  Part-Time position Responsibilities: Assist in camp/parent orientations and individualized interviews Review and process eligible applicants in accordance with eligibility requirements Participate and assist in the evaluation of camp programs and the camp experience for 1199SEIU members and their children Gather and data entry of required programmatic documents (service providers, members, children, etc.) Assist in the documentation and evaluation process of camp providers, parents and participants; facilitate in the preparation of periodic reports Participate in department activities, Corporation and Fund events Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned  Qualifications: Associates Degree and two years experience working with families and children preferred; or equivalent education and experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Highly organized, capable of completing tasks and meeting critical deadlines Ability to readily establish, foster and maintain good professional working relationships with colleagues, parents and children Thoroughly knowledgeable of Microsoft Office, ability to quickly learn and use new software Some travel, evening and weekend work required * Please note two openings available.
