Senior Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for management of major capital projects from inception to completion. Responsibilities include: development of the program and project budget in consultation with the Office of the Provost, Office of the University Architect and the client; management of the project budget; and organization of the architect selection process.
The Senior Project Manager will manage the project team including architects and consultants, obtain all required internal and external project approvals, determine the appropriate construction delivery method and organize the selection of a builder, represent University interests and coordinate University responsibilities in the field through construction, coordinate the selection and procurement of furnishings and equipment and facilitate occupancy of the project by the end user.
The Senior Project Manager shall have a professional degree in architecture and current professional registration as an Architect. A minimum of ten years of experience working on historically-significant buildings is required, preferably in a campus setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
LEED accreditation is highly preferred.
The position is available for a term of five years.
The finalist will be required to successfully pass a background check.
