The Department of Technology is looking for an experienced Information Technology Senior Programmer/Analyst to work on multiple enterprise applications. Candidates must have thorough knowledge of the software development life-cycle and extensive analysis experience and skills. Candidates must have the ability to work alone or as part of a team.  Candidates must have excellent written and oral communication skills.  An understanding of enterprise software architecture and extensive programming experience in .NET (C#) development is required.  Additional experience with XML, SharePoint, Web Parts, Exchange, MS Office, BizTalk, and Web Services development is desired.  A minimum of five years technical development experience is required.  A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems is preferred, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrate the ability to perform the job.  To apply for this position: VBCPS employees submit a Transfer Data Sheet and resume to Ann Ansell, Department of Technology.  External Candidates: Submit a VBCPS employment application to the Department of Human Resources using the Online form via VBSchools.com.  Resume must clearly show that applicant meets the education, experience, and skill qualifications.  Employment application must be on file with Human Resources in order to be considered.
