Sr. Analyst - Mergers & Acquisitions Job Summary: This position's primary responsibilities are to analyze performance and the financial structure of potential acquisitions, convert as necessary into comparable KLC metrics and develop analyses and recommendations on the viability of acquisitions. Essential Functions: · Develop standard and custom models for evaluating acquisition targets and compare/contrast to the existing businesses, where applicable.· Analyze potential acquisition targets; provide in-depth assessments on performance including cash flow and balance sheet, and recommend valuation and/or acquisition strategies. · Prepare summary analyses and presentations for senior management, the Board of Directors and other KUE personnel.· Work closely with other Accounting and Finance departments to ensure that financial modeling assumptions are aligned with accounting and internal or external reporting standards, and coordinate changes, as necessary.· Interact effectively and productively with multiple departments and reporting structures, and with representatives of outside companies, agencies and potential acquisitions.· Other related duties, as assigned. Non-Essential Functions: · Perform special assignments, as assigned by CEO, CFO, VP of M&A and other senior executives. · Assist corporate and operations personnel with ad hoc analysis, reports and requests for assistance. Adaptability Requirements: · Position requires a high degree of adaptability.· Incumbent will be faced with a variety of issues on a day-to-day basis and will be expected to respond to these issues appropriately. · Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints. Working Conditions: · Normal office working conditions.· Significant overtime hours required, at times, to complete time sensitive projects. Experience and Education: · MBA or CPA (with concentration in Finance or Accounting) required.· Minimum of 5 years of M&A experience (international experience highly desirable).· Strong understanding of GAAP, acquisition and general business strategy.· Strong knowledge of profit and loss management, and working knowledge of statistical analysis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: · Research, prepare, and present executive-level analysis and reports.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills. · Expert skill level with computer software programs such as Microsoft Excel and Access.· High skill level with computer software programs such as Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.· Excellent problem-solving skills. *CB*
