S., Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates and offer doctoral, master's, bachelor's, and associate degrees and diploma and certificate programs We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Internal Auditor for the following opportunity: Responsibilities:* Participates in audits and leads execution of the audit process Assess risk and control and develop effective test plans with guidance from the Audit Manager Exhibit judgment regarding issue notification and draft findings and final audit reports for review by the Audit Manager Lead communication with client with guidance/support from the Audit Manager Demonstrate continued growth in business knowledge and understanding, typically in a specific line of business or technology Develop skills to effectively organize and lead teams Apply project leadership skills regarding engagement notification, task assignment and monitoring, interim performance evaluation and coaching, project pacing and control Help train and mentor junior staff Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required* At least 5 years of related experience* Professional certification is required* Demonstrated broad base of audit expertise across multiple businesses*Sound decision making abilities* Strong leadership abilities* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills* Open to 35% travel Career Education Corporation offers an exciting, ethical work atmosphere and a very competitive compensation and benefits package including, medical/dental, stock purchase plan, 401 (k) plan, performance bonus plan, tuition reimbursement and ongoing professional development.
