Senior Business Systems Analyst

SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST, Information Services and Technology (IS&T), to join the team responsible for system analysis, design, configuration, interface design, and support for MIT's financial, sourcing, facilities, and environmental health and safety functions. The primary focus will be on financial master data, general ledger operations and reporting, accounts receivable, and other financial and costing functions. Responsibilities will include performing business requirements analysis, writing functional specifications, designing and configuring system and interface solutions, performing and/or leading system testing, developing and maintaining system documentation, developing and delivering training materials, providing go live and ongoing operational support, and leading projects. Will need to thoroughly understand the current system implementation, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions and enhancements incorporating industry and system best practices.

REQUIREMENTS: a minimum of five years' experience in business management and business process analysis and design; a minimum of five years' SAP configuration experience in FI/CO, with expertise in multiple business areas; deep system knowledge and strong critical thinking and problem solving skills; and excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills. Certification in SAP FI/CO and other areas highly desirable. Knowledge of funds management, grants management, and multiple currency implementation a plus; as is knowledge of higher education and/or nonprofit administration. Must demonstrate proven ability to quickly acquire new functional area expertise. MIT-00007931-Q
