Senior Analyst - Market Research & Customer Insight

Reporting to the Director, Market Research & Customer Insights, the Senior Analyst: Designs and manages a variety of primary and secondary research projects to support the corporation's and business units' efforts; ensures all research efforts support the growth agenda via clear, actionable results and recommendations Designs and executes projects from start to finish, including the development of research instruments (both qualitative and quantitative), fielding, vendor management (when applicable), analysis and report preparation/presentation Helps develop the Competitive Intelligence function and has day-to-day responsibilities for maintaining the information and website and ensuring CI recommendations are in context and as informed as possible Ensures projects meet client objectives and are delivered on time and within budget; effectively manages both internal resources and vendors to this end Works closely with internal clients to build relationships and function as an integral part of the teams in which research will be used Is committed to marketing research and competitive intelligence and continuously growing research and CI knowledge; stays abreast of latest developments in the both fields and incorporates industry best practices to improve the productivity, cost-effectiveness, and decision-making ability of the function and business units Pays close attention to issues that affect research respondent cooperation and suggests alternative ways to increase respondent participation Aptitude for business problem solving and a strong desire to learn new research methods and develop category expertise Entrepreneurial and self-motivated Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, statistics, or a related field Minimum of 8 years market research experience Advanced degree (preferred) Supplier side experience a plus Broad and deep knowledge of a variety of research techniques and methods to include both quantitative and qualitative experience Broad knowledge of current best practices and challenges in both market research and competitive intelligence Superior questionnaire design and report writing skills Ability to succeed in a modern, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work between market research and competitive intelligence responsibilities and drive results Data analysis skills using SPSS or similar statistical programs Strong project management skills and leadership potential Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent analytical and statistical skills Creative thinker, team player, detail-oriented, able to think through all possible aspects of a situation and see it from all sides Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines RESPOND HERE!
