Posting Summary

Provide secretarial support for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, Drexel University College of Medicine, Department of Medicine at our Abington Memorial Hospital site.  

 

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent is required.
1-2 years related experience required; in an academic medical setting preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; experience in computer use and mainstream software applications(i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel or comparable MAC applications.
Good organizational skills.  

 

Responsibilities  

Maintain travel expenses and budgets. Provide phone coverage for the office, facilitate phone call to proper destination. Compose and type various correspondence, memos, meeting minutes, etc.. Greet visitors and provide assistance to them. Assist in the coordination of special events run by the office. Schedule appointments / meetings for the office.
