(HES) is an educational service provider that services K-12 public school academies in the Metro Detroit area and is seeking highly qualified and motivated candidates to provide support to its students who come from diverse educational & ethnic backgrounds attending at:

Star International Academy (PK-12)– Dearborn Heights -  Founded in 1998

SALARY:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:

1.  Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in the study of Mathematics or Chemistry

2.  Must be a MI  Certified Teacher

3.  Must be computer literate, well versed with the State “Computer Literacy Standardsâ€�

4.  Must be able to work in a multicultural environment

5.  Must be dedicated to KIDS.

6.  Flexible, open-minded, team member and self-driven.

 

DUTIES AND

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 1.  Meet and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at times designated.

 2.  Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.

3. Creates a classroom environment that is conducive to learning.

4.  Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.

5. Employs a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media.

6.   Assesses the accomplishments of students on a regular basis.

7.  Maintains accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law or district policy.

8. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Principal or Executive Director or her designee.
