Seasoned Retail Manager with Educational Focus for K-12 Learning Center

Nationally based K-12 learning center provides personalized instruction in reading, phonics, study skills, writing, math and test preparation for high school and college entrance exams taught by certified teachers in a stable and structured learning environment. Our trained and certified instructors help improve students' skills utilizing proven methods of individualized instruction to increase skills in reading, writing and math, so students do better in school and reach their full potential.  Our dedicated full-time staff members work together in helping thousands of students do better in school each year. 

 

Seeking candidates for the position of Center Director.  This position is primarily a sales, marketing, and leadership position.  Our Center Director leads a team of dedicated full and part-time employees, in providing the utmost in care and service to their students.  They help to create a bond with parents during both initial and ongoing conferences. They promote our services through school and business contacts, and deliver the finest supplemental education services available to students anywhere in the U.S.

 

Successful candidates will have the ability to diagnose key indicators of their overall success, and will be responsible for the financial health of their centers.  Practical experience in public and private education is highly desirable.  Our compensation program will offer you the opportunity to benefit financially from our growth. 

 

Center Director responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Responsible for meeting revenue, operation and marketing goals of the Center. Present an individualized education program to parents during an initial conference. Lead, motivate and evaluate full time staff members. Monitor and maintain center activity. Work closely with students, administering evaluations, assisting new students and oversee student educational programs. Conduct follow up parent conferences. Visit schools to meet with teachers and administrators. Promotion of the center and participation in the community.

 

The ideal candidate must possess the following:Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.  Educational experience is a plus. Experience and success in education, training, sales or retail service industries with strong leadership, motivation, customer service & communication skills. Enjoy working with children in a team environment and a commitment to help children succeed academically. High levels of energy & enthusiasm, outgoing & confident personality, the ability to motivate others and must be customer service oriented.  Professional demeanor, flexible personality with the ability to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Experience with managing staff members Patience and compassion for school-aged children. Evening and weekend availability.
