Our work covers assessments in more that one hundred content fields, professional teaching skills, and the basic skills of reading, writing, and mathematics. Evaluation Systems group of Pearson is a leader in the development and administration of teacher certification tests. Our scoring department is currently seeking a Scoring Assistant. The Scoring Assistant performs administrative and clerical duties in support of holistic scoring activities. Responsibilities include: assembling training materials for scoring sessions; scoring room set-up; scheduling, training and supervising table assistants during scoring sessions; ensuring the smooth flow of materials during scoring sessions; assisting in post-scoring session clean-up and archiving activities; and assisting in the recruitment of qualified table assistants and scorers for scoring sessions. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated organizational and multi-tasking skills are required.
