REVENUE ANALYST

The Company also authors more than 200 print and software titles on test preparation, college and graduate school selection and admissions, and related topics.

 

JOB SUMMARY:  Conduct all necessary Oracle project setup, revenue and billing activities, resolve and respond to internal customer inquiries.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Review all standard non-multiple element contracts to determine revenue recognition and billing.Review, research and create all new Project numbersRespond to both revenue and billing inquiries and research discrepanciesUndertake reconciliations, filing, and other projects as requiredPrepare and create reports, utilize spreadsheets and update databasesAssist management in advanced research and balancing activitiesUpdate, maintain and ensure accuracy of Oracle Projects.Review accounts for possible inaccurate billing and possible wrong revenue recognitionAct as primarily liaison with the A/R to ensure proper invoicing.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience requiredGeneral knowledge of accounting required, minimum of two years experience preferred Ability to multi-task while keeping strong customer focus; excellent communication skills, especially telephone communicationStrong computer and organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and meet tight deadlines, requiredKnowledge of Oracle recommended but not requiredBasic understanding of Revenue Recognition
