Registered Nurse (RN) Instructors to teach VN Program - LA

American Career College (ACC) has been helping people succeed for 30 years, and we are currently recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) to be instructors for the Vocational Nursing Program. If you want to be part of our team-oriented environment, we have a teaching position available at our Los Angeles or Anaheim Campus.

 

You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to instruct classes and motivate students to learn.  Your coaching skills will be needed to advise and tutor students through regular office hours and ad hoc sessions.  To be really successful in this environment, you’ll use your ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while still providing high quality service and a great attention to detail.  Although not absolutely necessary, the successful candidate would benefit from experience in teaching at a vocational school.

 

You must have a current RN license, CPR card, strong clinical skills, and a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years RN experience. Although prior Instructor experience is desired, we are willing to train qualified Registered Nurses (RN) to become Instructors.
