Job Description

The Brilliance Academy Regional Manager will be responsible for  managing and assisting Lead Mentors.  The Regional Manager is responsible for facilitating a supportive environment where the Lead Mentors, Mentors, Lead Tutors and Tutors feel adequately directed and organized.  The Regional Manager will oversee fifteen to twenty CPS schools, maintain positive and informed relationships with SES Coordinators and foster relationships with principals and CPS staff.  The Regional Manager is responsible for finding substitute Tutors or acting as a substitute Tutor when necessary.  The Regional Manager will ultimately oversee the accuracy of timecards, the balance of employee schedules and review records of materials collection and distribution. 

 

Office responsibilities for the Regional Manager include, but are not limited to, assisting in special projects, troubleshooting, data entry, assisting the HR Manager and facilitating meetings.  A good Regional Manager will recognize when and how to delegate responsibilities and will be flexible when various projects change or arise.

 

Pre-Requisites:

 

?  The RM will have a minimum of one year managing experience.  

?  The RM will be able to demonstrate experience where clear communication was necessary and multi-tasking was imperative. 

?  The RM will have excellent inter-personal skills and be able to negotiate difficult scenarios. 

?  The RM will have experience working under pressure and enabling others to do their jobs in a supportive environment. 

?  The RM will have experience with diplomatically diffusing stressful situations and restoring positive relations.
