Receptionist/Sales Support Coordinator

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for Reception and Sales Team support. Daily responsibility includes answering customer questions, entering customer orders, resolving customer issues, and providing administrative support to Sales Team.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and efficient manner

· Handle customer questions and requests with customer care, attention to detail, and an emphasis on follow-up

· Enter customer orders timely and accurately

· Work closely with accounting to ensure that customer credit issues and returns are entered correctly and resolved timely

· Provide Sales Team support in the areas of customer care, sales material preparation, reporting, projects, sales events, and administrative support

· Maintain up-to-date records in customer database (Cispub and Salesforce.com)

· Communicate with other departments as necessary to ensure customer and Sales Team requests are handled timely

· Participate in the development of departmental training materials and plans

· Demonstrate teamwork and respect for co-workers, management, customers and visitors

· Other projects and duties as assigned

 

Required Skills/Experience/Education:

·  Excellent communication skills

·  Excellent customer service skills (friendly, courteous, and helpful)

·  Exceptional attention to detail

·  Ability to multi-task and manage workload efficiently

·  Computer literacy

·  Ability to type approximately 40 words per minute

·  High school diploma or equivalent
