Programmer Analyst II

University of Nevada, Reno, department of Computing & Telecommunication, is seeking a Programmer Analyst II. This position participates as a CTC team member in the programming, implementation and maintenance of campus business-oriented computer applications. The Programmer Analyst develops, modifies, tests, implements and supports CTC computer applications and programs. Must also have two years of experience programming in many of the following languages and tools: Visual Studio.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, Oracle, PL/SQL - stored procedures, SQL Reporting Services, Windows/Vista operating systems, MS Office and Sharepoint. Experience with data analysis for reporting and interpretation. In addition, the preferred candidate will demonstrate: * Experience developing computer programs for the Internet using Visual Basic.Net and general object oriented programming concepts * Prior experience with relational databases and SQL programming * Familiarity with desktop and server computer hardware and operating systems, particularly Windows* Computer networking as it relates to the development and support of multi-tiered applications * Higher education experience Salary range for this Administrative Faculty position is $38,804 to $59,699, DOE.
