Position Summary

The Program Director is responsible for all aspects of the Washington, DC program services. This includes the provision of quality of services to children and youth referred by public agencies and reform initiative sites as well as the planning and provision of in-home services to families referred by the DC CFSA. Responsibilities also include the recruitment, training, supervision and support of staff in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of effective treatment programs. Director will ensure that the staff will maximize high rates of successful program completion and discharge to less restrictive living environments; timely placement of children into homes; effective treatment of children and families; and the implementation and oversight of existing, policies and procedures to ensure continuous program quality and compliance with licensing and regulatory agencies. Additional duties include the planning and implementation of effective individualized services to families in their own homes to prevent placement in foster care, when requested by public agencies and other sources of referral.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Social Work, a DC Social Work License, and a minimum of five years experience with troubled children and families. Two years experience in a supervisory/administrative role. Must have all appropriate clearances, drivers license, insurance, and transportation for travel throughout the program service area.
