Processing Specialist

The Processing Specialist works in a time sensitive, deadline driven environment.  Daily tasks include processing incoming mail, ensuring that the registrations/renewals are complete and accurately entering the data into our proprietary systems.  Additional tasks may include scanning incoming tests, producing standard correspondence, production of licenses, certificates or other client specific documents, and printing of other forms.  The position is sedentary and most work will be performed at a desk.  The hours are somewhat flexible and the rate of pay is $12.25 per hour.

Responsibilities: Handle all incoming mail, faxes and overnight packages, and requests to completion, following client business rules. Ensure standards for data accuracy are followed. Ensure standards for quantity and quality of work are met or exceeded. When necessary, escalate situations to the next level of authority. Appropriately forward requests for research, receipts, score letters, refunds, discrepancies, rosters, etc., to the appropriate area. Ensure all reference documents and materials are current. Perform as an active and flexible member of the assigned team.

Experience and Skills:


Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some post-secondary education preferred.

Work Experience Requirements: 1-2 years working in a data entry or keyboarding position preferred. Strong work history showing excellent reliability required.

Skills: Excellent attention to detail. Solid problem-solving abilities. Basic computer and keyboarding skills.

OTHER:This sedentary position requires you to strictly adhere to your schedule, the standards, and the guidelines.  You must remain at your station, ready to take calls, at all times except scheduled breaks and lunch. Keywords: data entry, processing
