Positive Behavior Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a Positive Behavior Support Specialist in a therapeutic educational program.  Bachelors degree in social work, special education, human services or a related field is preferred.  Must have prior experience working with children with severe emotional and behavioral disabilities.  Responsibilities include active behavior management throughout the school and in classrooms, assistance in the development and implementation of behavior management plans, successful management of student behavior within the productive thinking room, expertise in use of approved Nonviolent Crisis Prevention Intervention techniques,  develop and maintain database of student behaviors including monthly reports of productive thinking room referrals and behavioral incidents.
