Partner Relations Manager
Description:
BALANCE, the premier provider of financial counseling and education to employer and credit union groups, is seeking an experienced, high-energy professional with minimum 3 to 5 years partner relations experience, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. Must have strong consultative skills, with the ability to identify needs and provide solutions based on those needs. This position reports to the Director of Partner Relations of BALANCE.
The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for maintaining an excellent relationship with all credit union partners with the ultimate goal of renewing partners’ contracts. Partner Relations staff are the primary business to business contacts with our partners assisting partners with program startup, staff training, coaching partners on marketing campaigns and responsible for internal communications on partner activities to management and staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Establishes relationships with new partners by contacting new partner, creating and populating new partner's file, mailing new partner's packet to the management team, emailing marketing tools to partner's marketing contact. Schedules and conducts partner manager overview meeting, reviews and completes Statement of Support updating database and creditor's matrix spreadsheet information.
Conducts training and workshops as assigned. Prepares and conducts staff training for partners, conducts financial education workshops for credit unions members and staff. Visits other partners as needed during trips to review program, conduct training, etc.
Manages relationships with assigned partners by contacting partners at least quarterly to share new tools and obtain update on program progress. Follow up on any request or service questions from partners. Coordinates service issues with BALANCE management. Prepares semi-annual and annual partner review reports/letters, assists with design, implementation and monitoring of partner marketing initiatives coordinated with partner and marketing/management, conduct a web review of all partner sites. Identifies potential partnership enhancements.
Coordinates marketing materials requests with partner and marketing department of BALANCE.
Writes partners reviews, notifies partner about upcoming review and request input. Researches and writes six month and annual reviews, follows up with partner for feedback on the review.
Negotiates partner renewal agreements prior to expiration date.
Maintains partners database and spreadsheet by updating Filemaker database with partner data on ongoing basis, updates partner Excel spreadsheets on monthly basis.
Promotes new programs, workshops and Financial Fitness Training to partners in coordination with marketing department; Schedules sales appointments when possible when visiting existing partners.
Attends conferences as required
