Job Description
Amkoenglish.com & Co is looking for a “Part-Time English or Spanish instructor” to teach English or Spanish to “on-line” members in Asian countries especially in South Korea using our own website communication solution tools such as webcam, headset or telephones.
Responsibilities include teaching basic to advanced language skills(English or Spanish) using textbooks. Schedule to be determined depends on applicant’s available working hours.
Candidates should have an education background and experience teaching either English or Spanish.
Strong language skills are required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Teaches “on-line” students for English or Spanish as a Second Language.
· Creates “on-line” classroom environment that is conducive to learning and interest of the students.
· Encourages students (Min 1 to Max 20 students) to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
· Guides the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals not only language skills but also cultural understanding
· Evaluates on-line student’s academic keeps appropriate records and prepares progress bi-weekly and monthly reports.
Requirements for Position Must have at least two years of teaching experience in an academic setting Must have at least a Bachelor's or Prospective BA degree Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week. Working hours is preferred on Monday - Friday between the hours of 6:00AM~Noon or 6:00 PM~Midnight. A current or former Teaching Certificate is preferred
