Parent Aides

Two Parent Aides are needed in the Merrimack Valleyarea to provide parenting education and outreach counseling to referred clients. As a parent aide the candidate will advocate for services for clients, maintain regular contact with DSS and Service Coordinators, participate in supervision and professional development of clients and maintain all client records. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, have experience with parenting and maternity issues, be computer literate and have a valid license and car. The ability to work with a wide range of people from many different racial, religious, and socioeconomic back grounds is a must. One position calls for 20 hours a week, the other is a 30 hour a week requirement. Please indicate which position best fits your availability in your cover letter.
