Operating Engineer (Position # 0109213)

Will be responsible for properly operating all mechanical systems; for performing selected preventive and corrective maintenance duties as directed; monitoring and operating building automation system hardware, software, sensors and components.  Operator will be responsible for operation, preventive and corrective maintenance for chilled water plant.

Requires a Class A City of Pittsburgh Stationary Engineer’s License, Universal CFC certification; a minimum of five (5) years experience as a licensed stationary or operating engineer; a minimum of three (3) years experience monitoring and operating building automation systems controlling a large and complex physical plant, and experience in operating chilled water plant.  Operator must have experience with computer based energy management systems and DDC control, lab controls and supporting equipment and chilled water plant.  Incumbent should possess a valid PA driver’s license.
