We are looking for a high energy, analytical thinker with extensive online marketing experience that will fill our position of Online Marketing Manager for the business segment of our subscription based research site (www.highbeam.com).  The Business Segment Marketing Manager will be responsible for using online marketing methods to acquire and retain business customers (including support of our enterprise sales team) and assist in all facets of online marketing as it relates to the business segment.

 

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in online marketing, including e-mail marketing, managing the on site conversion funnel, A/B testing, creating promotions and offers, and tracking ROI of marketing programs.  The candidate must have excellent written communication skills and will be expected to create compelling copy and designs (working with our in-house design team) that will drive results.  This person will be a self-starter with the ability to focus on pragmatic solutions that deliver maximum results from an efficient use of time and resources.  We require a creative, innovative, and ambitious team player who will enjoy working in a collegial environment where success is rewarded. 

ONLINE EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.

 

Job duties: Create, manage and implement new strategies for acquiring new customers in the business segment Use price, product and segmentation and to create compelling offers that increase new Business customers, traffic, revenues, and profits. Manage the on site purchase/sales funnel and implement changes by leading cross functional teams. Manage relationships with key partners/affiliates, and optimize offerings to maximize productivity. Analyze web traffic, identify trends, and make recommendations for site improvements based on analysis. Analyze customer segmentation, product consumption, revenue, LTV, and refunds and create programs to increase revenue and retention of customers in the business segment. Monitor and provide ongoing campaign analysis of internal and external tracking, delivery, and performance of all online marketing initiatives. Keep abreast of latest trends in online marketing, subscription marketing and retention. Assist in other marketing initiatives as time permits. Other duties as assigned by Director of Subscriptions Marketing

Requirements:

-          Minimum 3 years online marketing experience

-          BS required, MBA Preferred

-          Experience in setting strategy and a proven track record of having successfully grown businesses revenues.

-          Proven team player, supporting and promoting team accomplishments and a proven ability to drive change.

-          Demonstrated ability to influence/sell ideas and present alternatives in a convincing manner.

-          Experience with B2B and Lead Gen marketing
