Office Manager, Preschool
We are a non-profit preschool in beautiful Lincoln, MA with an immediate opening for an experienced Office Manager. Come join our dedicated team of professionals and manage the administrative operations of the center, helping us provide quality early education and care to local families.
Responsibilities include:
* Bookkeeping
* Invoicing and accounts receivable
* Purchasing and accounts payable
* Payroll processing and recordkeeping
* Employee benefit management and tracking
* Greeting those arriving at the center
* Responding to inquiries from parents, staff and outside vendors
* Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports
* Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets
* Managing insurance policies and relationships
* · Maintaining a variety of spreadsheets and other reference documents
* Overseeing data security
* Varied administrative and clerical tasks as needed
* On limited occasions, substituting briefly in the classroom
This is a 35-hour per week position, compatible with mother’s hours.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree
* Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to create a welcoming atmosphere
* Strong detail orientation
The successful applicant will be required to allow a background record check.
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
