Network Support/Security Specialist
The Tredyffrin/Easttown School District has an immediate opening for an experienced Network Support/Security Specialist. The successful candidate must possess highly developed interpersonal skills and be able to express written and spoken ideas clearly. Extensive knowledge of Mac OS X 10.4x - 10.5 x Client, 10.5 Server, Windows XP, Active Directory, Open Directory, Work Group Manager, Unix Shell Scripting and Apple Remote Desktop is required. Apple Certified Technician status will be required (if the successful candidate lacks this certification, it must be achieved within six months of employment). The successful candidate may possess a degree in Computer Science or a related field. The skills to support the District's computer network, workstations, and peripheral devices at all instructional levels and among all users are essential. This person must possess a strong work ethic and must have excellent references as a network professional. The salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
