Medical Billing and Coding Instructor-Kaplan College
Would you enjoy sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for Medical Billing and Coding with our dedicated students? Kaplan College has an opportunity for you as an Instructor within our Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program at our Panorama City Campus. You will prepare students with the knowledge, technical skills, and work habits required for entry-level positions within the medical billing and coding specialist field or related area and to give them opportunities for career advancement. You will instruct courses in Information Management, Collection Procedures and Insurance Plans.What you will do: Present enthusiastic, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures and classroom activities consistent with the course syllabus. Continually promote the development and effective use of skills in areas such as critical and analytical thinking, evaluation, communication, computation, problem solving and decision-making. Provide the student with timely information and feedback on his/her academic progress relative to quizzes, tests, homework and projects. Provide students with a complete syllabus containing course objectives on the first day of class. Skills and Experience you will need· Prior career-school experience and two or more years of teaching experience a BIG PLUS · Ability to be highly organized, & detail oriented · Excellent persuasive communication skills · Ability to interact effectively and professionally with students, parents, staff and faculty · Consistently display the highest levels of integrity · Exceptional social and customer focused skills Submit your resume in Word format to Akoscak@khec.com
