American Career College (ACC) has been helping people succeed for 30 years, and we are currently recruiting for part-time and substitute Medical Assistant Instructors for our Orange County Campus. This is an outstanding opportunity for service oriented individuals to help our students begin their journey toward their new Medical Assistant careers.

 

You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to instruct classes and motivate students to learn.  Your coaching skills will be needed to advise and tutor students through regular office hours and ad hoc sessions.  To be really successful in this environment, you’ll use your ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, while still providing high quality service and a great attention to detail.  Although not absolutely necessary, the successful candidate would benefit from experience in teaching at a vocational school.

 

You MUST have a minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) and have graduated from an accredited MA program.  A current CPR card is required.  Although prior Instructor experience is desired, we are willing to train qualified Medical Assistants to become Instructors.
